Girl Calabasa is upper class, it's probably better stocked there because money changes the dynamics of things. There's also probably less people involved in these equations vs LA where the population is much much denser. There's a huge difference...

thats exactly my point! its not like the Kardashian's are directly responsible for a tp shortage in other places of the US...they were allowed to walk into a store and buy as much as they wanted why is there backlash

yes it is tone deaf af. but just because someone/thing is tone deaf, doesn't give us the right to "cancel" them or drag them thru the mud.

throwing out food you dont like/didnt eat is also due to global disparity. the fact that we can access the internet for more than an hour a day is due to global disparity. their are many things we do that someone less fortunate would call tone deaf, but thats always gonna be the case.

it's not that, it's the fact that they proudly post it on social media laughing when they know that 90% of people who check them out are normal people, some who are struggling during this virus the toilet paper is like the one image in our mind when we think of the beginning of this craziness, and they wasted it, when we'd all see people fighting over it out of fear of losing everything, and they waste it and laugh about it. they shouldve shared that video to their group chat on whatsapp from Calabasas or something not on IG.

so should they also not post pics of them in their swimming pools because 60% of the world that has internet access has fresh water shortages and may wake up to find their taps cut off from the supply? 

should they not post pics of them while on vacation to tropical places, because so many people are not allowed to enter the countries they visit?

asking someone to censor something just because someone else may not have it/be able to do it is the beginning of signs of Groupthink, and sounds pretty dystopian to me.
