It was its first debut that anyone ever heard it. The last song to be played before it was her song LoveGame. That entire promo was so under control and held on a tight leash. Mister Gaga 22,929
Nobody did it like her. The hype for Born This Way was literally unprecedent. I remember an interview with Ellen around that time where she said to Gaga 'you are such a star, i think we have never seen something quite like this before'. She was at the TIME cover of most powerfull people of the world; there was this UK poll where she was named more influential than the queen of England...with just four years of career she was being compared to freaking Madonna & Michael Jackson aka the biggest singers of all time...girl, omg
NewUsername 11,425
When the BTW album promotion was in full mode, there was like a recorded interview every day, or even 2 or 3, it was so cool and at the same time hard to keep up haha.
gagzus 15,937
Veterans truly remember when she said "i would call it born this way" and smiled during her hour long SHOWStudio interview in response to having a movie about her life, THAT'S when the real hype started and we knew it was something album related. I saw that interview back then but I didn't think anything of it. It was a common phrase at the time.
