If indeed this band has no hit and no notoriety or whatsoever, why would it affect her? They're not the first to use her name or persona in a video. It's all "2nd grade" behavior. Having hits doesn't mean she's automatically above them. I hate that sort of mentality. I also expected her to have better music taste. Their reply they're not cooler than her. More clownish maybe. She reached out to them, and they spat back at her. It's much worse than just a random stranger insulting you. It's the kind of thing that makes you say, well, "i guess its not a good idea to tell someone you're a fan." Makes you feel cold and hard inside. Sure, it might kind of go against what she's said in the past, but honestly, what doesn't Gaga do that isn't contradictory. Like, I'm pretty sure it's become a normal thing for her to contradict the hell out of herself. So honestly, somehow I'm not surprised. But in this case I totally can undertand why she said something. However, what she did say definitely came off as being quite superficial. Gaga, you're better than that.
