I was about to say it was a bit petty to shade them, until I saw the video. LOL

she should have risen above it, it would've proven that she's mature. In such instances, it shows, how frail her EGO is. If indeed this band has no hit and no notoriety or whatsoever, why would it affect her? They're not the first to use her name or persona in a video. It's all "2nd grade" behavior. She has to learn to pick her battles.

Lately she's been shading people who attacks her.

Who, besides Die Antwoord? Cathy Horyn? But that's been going on since last year.

yeah **** rising above that, it's blatant hate on their part.

I'd be concerned if she didn't say something!

It's not shade when it's self defense, or retaliation in your own name.

I have nothing against her defending herself, in fact she should do it more often, but her first tweet was just so unnecessary. Having hits doesn't mean she's automatically above them. I hate that sort of mentality. I also expected her to have better music taste.

Their reply :fail: they're not cooler than her. More clownish maybe.

Because it's personal. She reached out to them, and they spat back at her. It's much worse than just a random stranger insulting you. It's the kind of thing that makes you say, well, "i guess its not a good idea to tell someone you're a fan." Makes you feel cold and hard inside.

Yeah, she probably would've been better off ignoring them, but then again, it's just a couple of tweets.

Honestly, I can understand why she stood up for herself and said something back this time. Sure, it might kind of go against what she's said in the past, but honestly, what doesn't Gaga do that isn't contradictory. Like, I'm pretty sure it's become a normal thing for her to contradict the hell out of herself. So honestly, somehow I'm not surprised. But in this case I totally can undertand why she said something. However, what she did say definitely came off as being quite superficial. Gaga, you're better than that. She should have said something else.
