I want her to have a Joanne Era.

Not everything that suit Gaga can suit other artists!

Mastering one genre is better than trying different geners each time without mastering any of them

I meant in terms of success and the fact that is a laid back era. But i wouldn’t mind if she were to do country inspired music, also i think she’d be probably good at it

The misogynistic attitude rooted in this fan base and most of pop music is gross AF. Stop pitting women against each other and turning their careers and releases into a competition. the whole "there can only be one queen" bullsh*t is tired. Why can only one woman be successful at a time? Why do y'all need to put other women down in order to lift another up. it's so counter intuitive and only further strengthens a patriarchal narrative. No one does this to male musicians what so ever. Men are allowed to age gracefully without being "throw out" or "over" and can release when ever they want without pushback...

rant over... :nails:

I mean having the same manager that did one of your successful eras for a new one does not mean that it will do as good as the previous one... Especially since she didn't have any hit from her last releases

I've got an "F" and a "C" and I got a "K" too And the only thing that is missing is a bitch like "U"

Good for Katy. I hope the album is actually quality. NRO had Teenage Dream vibes and brought me back.

I don't really care if she and Gaga have music out at the same time, wish them both success.

I am a bit annoyed because the lead single announcement brings back Applause vs. Roar vibes. Like really Katy? You don't release a proper album in 3+ years and choose the same MONTH as Gaga?

If anything though, I think this can benefit both of them. Katy and Gaga's style of pop music hasn't been very mainstream the past few years. Doja and Dua Lipa got the pop bops started and hopefully Katy and Gaga can bring it full force back to mainstream chart domination. Success for one could fuel the other -- sort of like how Gaga's dance pop started a trend in 2009 that Kesha, Katy, and many others helped it to explode.

As much as she would like, she won’t have the success she had in the TD Era.

ngl I'm a little scared especially after SL's weak chart performance (bar first week). :gum: I mean they can both co exist or whatever but why do their eras have to coincide AGAIN :rip:

SL leaked for 5 weeks. It would be a fair comparison only if Daisies leaked for 5 weeks and was then released as the lead

She lost her moment. Nothing will help, especially a guy who was managing music industry before streaming raised.

Katy is passed her imperial phase. Even if she has a hit, it wouldn't replicate her success with Teenage Dream.

This is sad but true :(

Gaga's album was due for release in April. Katy has been planning to release a summer album for months. Don't be one of those fans 😅

Harleys in Hawaii bops harder than all of Joanne tho

who gon check me boo real housewives of atlanta GIF

If John Wayne and Harley in Hawaii were put in a ring to fight over which is better, John Wayne would use a damn rope to grab that motorcycle, whip it overhead in a circle, throw it in a river, stomp HIH’s face in, light it on fire, **** on it, vomit on it, and then shoot it’s face.

you better repent.

I swear I don’t mean any hate towards Katy or to pin her against anyone else or anything, but I genuinely cannot see Katy Perry having the biggest pop song of 2020. Her music is just...not that  but then again Toosie Slide went viral so I guess the GP will eat anything if it’s marketed correctly :trollga:

That era was a solid era from a manager aspect. It was managed extremely well - and it showed. He should manage LG7 era.
