DiskoBaby 1,929
Since 2009 every single was a top ten hit and had three number ones up until 2011. Then Marry The Night was her first single to not do well. Applause was a hit but it failed led to be as big as Katy Perry's Roar or Miley Cyrus Wrecking Ball. Then her other singles Do What You Want and Guy flopped. Then Joanne came and Perfect Illusion fails to top the charts. Million Reasons mostly did good after her Superbowl performance. Fast forward to Shallow which was a big hit for her mostly because of A Star is Born movie. But even after such a big hit, her single Stupid Love fails to to he a big chart topper falling off after a good debut. Sure every single can't be a big mega hit but why did she lose so much momentum after 2011? It's like she was the biggest pop star in the world for a few years and now she's lucky to have one decent hit for each album. Why can't she recapture the popularity she had with The Fame and Born This Way again? It's one thing to say with ARTPOP people just got bored of her. But then she took a break showed the world how talented she was and still couldn't get those high sales with Joanne. Then everyone fell in love with her again with Shallow only for people not to care anymore with Stupid Love.

NFRatwell 23,290
Just now, Gracious Gaga said: she didn't release music GP wanted to listen to. simple This. Dance pop was big in 2008-2011. Then it wasn’t. Simple as that.
Rio 5,088
Applause is still one of her biggest singles, radio and sales. Stop comparing to Katy and Miley - they had the biggest hits of that year lol. No one stays on top consistently or forever, too. Look at Katy and Miley now. SL isn't exactly a hit and it's still done way better than their last 5 songs lmao, without promo. JRCF29 8,219
I don't agree with the entire premise of this post. Lady Gaga was #11 on the Decade-End Artist 100. She has also dominated the Album Charts, with BTW, ARTPOP, and Joanne going #1. She's been consistent in getting singles on the chart, even if they don't go to the top. Don't Call Me Gaga

LOUDER 146
Longevity is more important. After more than ten years after her debut, it's pretty impressive how consistent she's on the charts. Maybe not all of her songs are #1's but I think she's very present on the charts nowadays which is remarkable after being so long on this business and all ups and downs she had. My name isn't Alice but I'll keep looking for Wonderland.
Ally Campana 15,284
Why isn’t Madonna/ Britney/ Katy topping the charts or matter of fact, charting anymore? Does it matter? Damage is done
