Gaga, GGD, Chromatica and negativity

So, I've decided to create yet another thread with my opinions about this era and this site in general. Anybody who knows me knows how much i love Gaga, she is my hero. She inspires me everyday and she has played a very big part of me becoming the person i am today. When she announced SL and i knew a new era was coming i had felt so much excitement and it was all i was thinking about as it would be the first time experiencing an era with an album/tour. With everything that has been happening (Pandemic, postponed, leaks etc.) i feel as if visiting this site has just made things 100x worse. Day in day out we get people complaining and constantly making negative comments about the release dates and making horrible comments about Gaga. I feel as if one of the biggest reasons this era has been ruined is because of this site and how the fans have acted. I love this site because its everything Gaga, and i don't have any social media so this is where i come for my updates. But I've lost all enjoyment because everything is just so negative, maybe I'm overreacting but i just think that people need to be patient and stop expecting things 24/7.

I mean, people preordered the album, bought the tour tickets so now they expect their product to be delivered. It would be enough if Gaga just said "hey the album is coming Q3 xoxo kindness queen". or something like that. Just comunicate with your fans who literally have thousands of dollars blocked by buying tickets to your show.

She also completelly forgot about SL and didn't really care about her LEAD single again just like with PI. Just give us a piano performance from your mansion, live streams on IG or anything. I know she is busy rn and she is probably working her ass off but you would expect that 2 months after the release of SL we'd at least see her perform it.

I agree that people need to be patience, it is not Gaga's fault and we will get Chromatica this year. I cannot say anything about the people on this site and for how long people are complaining already because I'm a member for 1,5 month now and I don't read every complain or message about Chromatica in the threads.

Well, that’s your problem  we like to share our opinions and honestly i do my best to make them constructive.

I don’t like bashing Gaga, but at the same time i am kinda disappointed with this Era.

What do you even want from this thread? That we stop sharing our true opinions about the era and force ourselves to like everything Gaga does?

I super get your point but in the other side we’re living in a moment that we don’t even know how it’s gonna be with the world after this. I mean, we don’t even know when we’re getting an “after CoronaVirus situation” properly so I really think she doesn’t want to make an announcement and then delays or whatever. I really think her and the crew are waiting to feel more confident about time and I believe that she’s uncomfortable with this situation too.

Give it time. You'll learn to block it out. I've been here since...the period between ARTPOP and Joanne. That's not very long but I've learned to ignore negativity.

Twitter is way worse btw. They literally post mean things about Gaga like it's meant to be cute or they think they're just foolin' around. I suspect that's why Gaga doesn't really interact on the internet anymore. So just hang in there and read posts by people whom are generally chilled.

Speaking for me, I can safely wait for Chromatica, the tour, the promotion, etc. what I regret the most is undoubtedly the change of Gaga towards her fans during the course of the last 3 years in particular. It's getting worse. From creating a huge community in order to communicate more often with her fans (littlemonster.com) to total silence. Currently there is not a single pop star who does not use social media to communicate with fans, especially in such a difficult moment. Before, it was a race of dedication between us and her ... and most of the time she was the winner. Maybe it's our fault because actually many of us have seriously attacked her for futile reasons but she has simply disappeared, making us feel abandoned and full of despair. It is not for the new era, I would like to have the old Gaga back, the one who was always ready to help a fan, the Gaga who literally saved lives on social media when her fans wrote that they were depressed and wanted to kill themselves. 

She was always there. I imagine that growing up, both as a woman and as a musician and activist, her priorities have changed. We are no longer among her priorities. It is very sad but it is reality and we should accept it.

What bothers me the most is that she is completely silent now, but will return to the "I LOVE YOU MONSTERS" and "I love my fans" talk on social media as soon as she has something to promote. It's shallow.

Okay, this falacy that we are horrible can't really be applied to Chromatica, we had it and it was taken from us, of course we are upset, or did you expect us to be weirdly calm and docile when she stayed silent for so long, start an era, then cancel the era and shut us off again? Were you naive enough to think we would not react to it?

True, but I had tickets to another gig at the start of June and that was only postponed at the end of April. The problem is as soon as you announce a postponement you'll need to announce new dates. That's hard as it will mean an entire shift in everything she's planned to do for the next few years (Enigma, tour rehearsals, album launch, Haus Labs product launches, Gucci film etc etc). As we know Gaga never does two things at once so it's not as simple as moving a few tour dates in this case
