And don't come with the "when the date was announced they already knew it wasn't gonna be released the 10th", because back in the first week of March, we were all still not aware of how serious and bad COVID-19 was going to be. EGOT2027 10,893 Posted May 5, 2020 Share Posted May 5, 2020 our queen’s name is on a graphic next to michelle and barack obama and y’all are mad about it?!!!? she’s a legend now. this is the kind of thing legends do. and as someone graduating college in 6 days, i know this will mean a lot to people...even if it’s just a distraction for one day. she can still do this and release the album in may lol. i too am frustrated that we don’t have a release date yet, but if our community keeps attacking her anytime she does things she wants to do, she will have less of a desire to make pop music. this is her career, life, and legacy. not ours. I just don't like the idea of her and her team postponing it because she couldn't do the elaborate promo tour and performances she had planned or worried about first week sales. The music should always come first. If she promised a March date then release it that day, suck it up, deal with the hand you've been given and make the best of it.
