some people bought the album in march and simply do not have money to spare. if you've bought something, you have a legal right to at least know when it's supposed to arrive. that's a fact. some people don't even want the music, they want the physical albums that they have purchased with their own money. it's simple, her team is holding people's money ransom and not even giving a clue as to when the album could arrive. that is not right.

How can people be complaining? What did you expect lmao, a 2 week delay? What world do you live in? Jesus just move on, ya'll are acting like it's been 3 months since the delay, do you even think about stuff before writing them? 

I REALLY hope she releases around June/July cuz if not the delay was useless and pointless. The best thing she can do is to release a promo single this month and that's it.

and no, not Rain on Me. That song deserves better than being released during the peak of a pandemic, but you are  not ready to have this conversation.

 

I think it's important to consider both sides.

On one hand, I do think that there are people who are going overboard when it comes to venting their frustrations with the album. There's no reason to say that she deserves to have her album leaked, or to say that you're "****ing done and over" this era and that you "couldn't care less". Well, obviously you do care, cause you're on this forum.

That said, these are annoying times. She announced the album, released the cover art, released the tracklist, released the lead single, announced the tour, had pre-orders up for the album, etc, etc. If she just announced the era without doing any of that, then I think more people would be okay with it.

The delay will not happen for long, I'm sure of that. Personally, I can see why they delayed the album (especially considering all the work Gaga put into the One World concert and the fact that she helped raise $128mm for COVID-19 relief), but they're still keeping a summer release. Releasing in the fall or winter doesn't make sense at this point because things won't get better then either. Realistically, this whole pandemic might not fully be gone until next year, and that's being optimistic. 

Several insiders have said something new is coming out this month. At this point, I'd just be okay with a promo single, but Blade specifically said that May is when Chromatica's coming out.

Life has to find a way to go one and the pandemic will be here for at least an additional 18-24 months. I love that she’s using her downtime to get involved with these events. In terms of the album, I’m sure it’ll happen sooner rather than later.

they are, but it's beyond an issue of returning it if you want to, it's a legal issue. they should either deliver it or cancel all orders, they should not be holding it in a state of limbo

You know, I get you, I do, but:
it's a right to know when it's supposed to arrive as much as it's a right for the 'company' to say 'no specific date is set yet'. Also, we DO know when it's supposed to arrive: 2020. That's still something actually.
