The domination she had over the world, the avante garde freshness of everything that she touched, and degree to which she interacted with us made the eras literally one of a kind. We hadn’t seen something like that before and haven’t since from anyone.

Nowadays PopGa doesn’t shock the world like she used to, and doesn’t get online a lot to make crazy hype and promises (many of which she never kept) so it can’t be the same as the BTW and ARTPOP eras.

Chromatica era has had a more clean and less messy promo slate (aside from the delay) so far and she’s been good at building up mystery, but it’s not quite as crazy, artistic and intimate as it used to feel. She literally performed ARTPOP demos for us and constantly teased and talked deeply about the songs, even many that didn’t make the album. Maybe I am alone in this though.

note it’s not a bad thing as the music will speak for itself, I’m just talking about the way she promotes. There’s upsides and downsides. Clearly ARTPOP rollout had enough downsides to change things up.

The Fame - Born This Way was the best time to be a stan. She gave us everything. I started paying attention to her when Poker Face blew. When Paparazzi came out I was a stan. Bad Romance and Alejandro blew me away. Good old days. Not to mention Katy, Kesha, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Britney all slaying the game. It was a good time to be interested in pop music. I don't feel nothing with current music. I only pay attention to my faves. 

On-topic: Is there different deluxe versions right? Is there any interesting tracks to be the international deluxe? Those 3 Target tracks ain't it.

I know what you mean, but just think of how fun it is to listen to a song you’re not excited for, and then find out it’s your new anthem 

So like skipping Alice to listen to Free Woman would be a shame imo, if Alice turns out to be a banger
