I haven't really come in here today and singled anyone out - there's been some very strange reactions to the remix, and I just wanted to say for 'the worst remix ever' it's doing well on iTunes! I will celebrate it cause I like stuff like that

Of course people aren't gonna like x 6 or z about Gaga - taste is subjective. I guess it causes arguments cause people argue their point lol its OK to agree to disagree and then move on

Within the context of the film's narrative, it's obviously fantastic and indicative of the characters and their journey through the plot.

Outside of the film's narrative, it's damn good music. The white man classic rock music, the folkier pieces, the pop pieces- all so, so good.

It's very eclectic. There's something in there for everyone. Especially since country, rock and pop are usually the most consumed genres. And she put in so much of blood, sweat and tears into it, just like she would to a studio album

Somebody here yesterday said Bradley hired her to write music for his film and I'll just mince my words and say that's the most ridiculous, bullshit statement that I've seen posted here in a long time. If you can't respect her work and her hustle, just keep it to yourself 

You can say you don't like the music but to strip her of her work is just disrespectful sh*t that I have zero tolerance limit for

I am really trying to tell myself I won't listen to the album if/when it leaks, and that this will be the first Gaga album I listen to as it's released and not leaked but... It's safe to assume, like most of her past albums, it'll leak probably 48-72 hours before that Friday. Do I have the control? Unlikely. Will I pretend like I do? Yes

It's just so damn good. I know there's essentially a different creative process for each album, but whatever happened with this one (and going by her and DJWS' words, it was very different to write within the realm of characters) really created something truly special.

Even the genre(s) of music worked in everybody's favor really, really well. I hope she revisits it one day.

I joke around, but ASIB truly is The Joanne Monster, in that the genre and writing is an elevation of its predecessor's concepts.

I'm excited for the house influenced tracks but I do wonder if you guys have latched on to that a bit? I'm not expecting it to be completely house sounding. 

I know the paper mag author said he heard it and it was but I'm certain later on he tweeted that he heard 5 songs. Those of which where probably Stupid Love, Rain On Me, 911, Free Woman and Babylon from what the article said. We know 3 of which are somewhat house-ish and with stupid love being dancey, it's not a stretch to think the interviewer ran with this and assumed it's was pretty house influenced. I'm wondering if it might be more like how Joanne had like 3/4 very country sounding songs with a tiny bit of influence on other tracks, when it was overall a more guitar driven pop record with a bit of country and folk influences

I agree, but I'm also kinda confused. 

In the past, she would have multiple dialogues about each album, alongside the BUY THIS BUY THIS BUY THIS cash grabs/merch. So I'm just looking forward to more dialogues about the album, because I'm genuinely interested and eager.

I'm sure it'll come next week.
