Maybe its different in the US but the guys on that app don't want anything other than sex. Its not a great app if you are looking for something more. Its not about having "thicker skin", its disturbing that people live through other people's validation and its THAT that needs to be addressed. Human - human connection is lost on that app. It is a hookup app, so people shouldn't be on there in the first place if they are looking for something more. People literally go on there to seek validation and have guys tell them they are attractive etc when they should be seeking self love and validation elsewhere. I mean, congrats to you for finding a boyfriend from that app... but thats not the reality for many. I know good guys from there, but its so annoying when they think they can take advantage of me because they want to have sex all the time. As I said, all it does is breed negativity thats not needed. Its toxic.
