Several major news outlets and music news sites reported on SL as well as Chromatica, and I have seen probably a dozen articles talking about the new release date. I agree I would have liked to see more promo and the France promo probably was only seen by fans, but we gotta think about the extensive meetings she must have had regarding any promo she had or any performances. I could imagine that as soon as she ended one call she went onto the next talking about what to do with x live promo spot or plans she had. I think because we all love her so much we feel a responsibility for how well the album does, and we probably take a lot of the stress and anxiety about it on as our own (tbh there isn't much else to focus on during this lockdown). But it's good to remind yourself that there is an entire group of people whose number one job right now is to make this album a success; we should trust in that. Absolutely nobody involved in the record wants to see it fail. Every choice they make with the promotion is based on what they, as professionals, think is the best way to maximise its success. There is a whole team and a major record label behind her whose sole priority is to get as many sales and streams for the album they possibly can.
