You thought" I really think that's why she was going to go all out with performances/just the overall look. I too think this is going to be her last pop album for the foreseeable future. We already have 3+ year breaks between albums, and I think she's finally ready to go off and do her own thing, hence why she's so quiet now a days anyway. It's funny how they decided to troll the fanbase by calling it LG6 and slapping it everywhere to brand the album as a response to the incessant trolling that her, Bloodpop and other producers and her team used to get while waiting for the album. Genius tbh I want to see her do Broadway sometime in her career, she's tailor-made for Broadway. And continue to spread kindness, her work with the BTWF, and continue to broaden her horizons when it comes to musical genres and styles. She's so versatile and an incredible talent. It's hard not to feel or get defensive about her when her own fans throw her under the bus because she's done so much for millions of people around the world. Sometimes you really have to see beyond the charts, the success, the acclaim to realize the human behind the popstar, her struggles with mental health, her PTSD from the sexual assault, her cultural impact. The woman is chronic pain literally every single day yet somehow manages to conjure the strength in her to fight her demons and give her fans the best experience she can. The impact of the BTW era makes me emotional every time I think about it. And now a decade later, she's still here and is just beginning, in a way I remember so clearly, when she wrapped up ARTPOP, she said "ARTPOP is just the end of the beginning of my career" and how she was determined to prove every single one of her haters and detractors wrong. And she did. And now she's back with yet another piece of her art and share it with us. The fact that a whole new album is just less than 17 days away still feels surreal. Can't wait to enjoy it with everyone when the day is here, because it might be long before we get that chance again for a dance-pop record "I was protected by the monks of Azarath, I was raised by my friends.
