That concept could have played a role in covid-19 related delay. I’m assuming no one wants to see Ariana and Gaga climb through skeletons singing “but at least I’m alive” after seeing mass burials in New York. In fact, she hardly used to use her falsetto in live performances. And all her paparazzi instrumentals used to be a scale below the studio version Compare that with TEOG performances from the JWT for ex.
