Gaga's first singles are always high-energy and usually an adrenaline rush (like PI) so if you're not in the mood to bust out the choreo and jam, it can be hard to listen to casually. I think its that adrenaline rush that rubs people the wrong way and might make it sound dated. If you're in the mood to burn some calories it's a wild ride, and I absolutely think it's fresh.
