I loved Kesha's promo for High Road, this trailer was great and had me excited for the songs in the snippets she shared. I also loved the fact that she had a number that you'd call to sign up for texts and you'd get notified "by Kesha" about upcoming new and releases. Doot 2 Posted May 12, 2020 Share Posted May 12, 2020 What's even more annoying is the same fans who reder to SL as a flop are the same fans who rush out there to do streaming parties, purchase hundreds of copies, leave the song streaming while playing at a low volume while they sleep, etc. All this does is make matters worse. These actuals exist only to falsely inflate songs success and make it seem far more successful than it ever actually is. I get we are all fans and want her to do well, but falsely inflating her numbers so one can brag on a forum or Twitter simply is doing her a disservice and shows you don't believe in her music to be able to perform on its own two legs. In the grand scheme of things, SL did completely fine, it was critically acclaimed, received great radio support, and was u fortunately hindered by a global pandemic which removed majority of the traditional promotion that a song would receive. I get that it isn't high concept and the mythos is shoe-horned in, but as a classic pop music video it's bright, effervescent and fun to watch.
