All of this being said, I’ve never cared about popular opinion or charts. My fave Gaga song is still Princess Die and it was never released officially let alone charted or had numbers attached to it’s name. Same with my favorite song on ARTPOP being Venus, no numbers attached to it’s name either. My want for her to chart high or at 1 is more for my sanity that I won’t have to see the ****ing word “flop” by anyone in this fan base or otherwise ever again Lol

Now, I love SL as much as anyone out there, I'm actually streaming it right now. 

BUT

SL being top 5 (and only 1 week) is only a success on paper. In reality, it didn't leave an impression on the public and that's a fact. We can call it a hit strictly based on the definition of a term 'hit', but we all know that's not what it was.

Saying that, it wasn't a flop either.
