I finally listened to FW and I must say, I’m glad SL was the lead :vegas: still really like it but if the final is structurally similar then SL is superior imo

but obviously I can only tell when the final version is released

We'll see about that... I find it amazing that someone who has never seen or heard the album, or even possess the album, can know the track lengths of songs. Incredible psychic abilities :billie:

well... i find it amazing too, maybe he has a medium sync with gaga:billie:

Have we cracked the code from which song is this lyrics?

"Every single day, yeah, I dig a grave. Then I sit inside and wondering if I’ll behave. It’s a game I play and I hate to say you’re the worst thing and the best thing that’s happened to me."

I can totaly emagine her shouting "Replay" afther this and the beat drops :lolly:

  Reveal hidden contents

yes, another chorusless song on Chromatica, deal with it :lolly:

I'm going to take a guess and say that I feel those lyrics may be from the same song as the on her latest merch:

SharedImage-102859.png?t=0020c8fb27eb21f

Which I know is an older quote from herself (a quick google tells me she said this in 2009/2010) - but I wouldnt be surprised if it ended up on the album considering it's featured so boldly on this shirt... thematically it sounds like it might fit with the grave digging lyrics?

But i'm probably reaching :laughga:

Doubt it.

Having looked at the screen recording again with the time stamp I think this was before Free Woman leaked possibly.

But I'm still feeling that Babylon might leak next Friday if not sooner. Giving us promo demos :billie:

is it a sequel of "Digging My Grave" :billie:

And when you say my name, like white horses on the waves, I think it feels the same, as an ocean in my veins.

Now girl, put on your reading glasses and try again. Because I never said that. I am talking a specific word (mastering) which people are throwing around willy nilly with next to no knowledge of what it means :awkney:

Do you honestly think they would be stems mastering a demo? :sharon: I rest my case here.

And re: Stupid Love, I know :ally:

We don't know is my point. :saladga: They easily could be and they just as easily could not - unless we are in the studio when they were making Free Woman we literally can't know at this point in time. I personally master 1000 different ways and at different points personally when working on projects. For me it helps because working with a fully unmastered track I struggle to find what I want to do direction wise because I get focused on parts that don't sound "finished" so if it's a part of the mix I know I wont change - such as the drums, I will do a little mastering to that audio so I can focus on the parts I want to change. Then sometimes once I'm done I'll say screw it and master things again. Every person has different work processes and even those will vary from song to song. I don't think the issue is that people don't know what mastering means - I think it's that you are being a bit elitist about it. If we understood what they meant then it doesn't matter. Plus, even if they don't fully understand what it means - they still might not be entirely wrong! Mastering isn't a one and done process when working and having tons of different demos. Nor is mastering from a single stereo file the only way to do it. Yeah, if they were saying mix and master or even just mix it may be "more correct" but I'm not expecting everyone here to be fully educated on the process - but if they are communicating in a way that we can understand than there is no reason to be shady because they're not using perfect vocabulary.
