I can see they went for that look but I believe it could have been so much better looking if they went with different creative choices. Don't worry you weren't rude, I know I can quickly jump from 0 to 100 on subjects I'm passionate about And we're all passionate about Gaga, so... They way you worded your original post came off as if you were trying to diminish the song's potential by calling it "gay". 🌹 free britney 🌹
Kid A 211
I have a strong feeling that the instrumental of the final version will sound differently. And I'm not only talking about song being mixed and mastered properly. I'm talking about instrumental itself being different. But we'll see.

PlasticPrincess 636
The more this era progresses isn't it weird how ALL the teasing and insiders are most active during the late afternoon/evening.... lodylody 1,749
To all the imposters, mastering is a term referring to the final effects put onto usually a single audio file (the mix) in order to finesse the overall sound and get the desired loudness. There is not really any such thing as the vocals not being mastered fully but the instrumental being mastered fully. Either the track we have is mastered, or it's not. And also, often demos have effects on the master bus just to get a vibe of what they will sound like when they're properly mastered. Technically, this demo appears to have had some mastering (-7.9 integrated loudness is difficult to achieve without it, as well as 3.0 loudness range - the readings I get for this demo). Fundamentally, it is a demo. These terms being bandied around without barely a notion of their meaning is so irksome

GagaSkeletonWay 2,080
And by the way, the gay or not topic is way too boring when we can be discussing every single line in the masterpiece that Free Woman is.

Darcklighter22 2,358
So the " a....heart....I know what I'm living for....light up....my body....and kiss me, to hardly.....this time I'm only listening to me" I feel might be different or cut it's kinda the only part that feels a little improvised imo. I think so too... like it sounds a little basic compared to the first verse "I was protected by the monks of Azarath, I was raised by my friends. They are my family, this is my home and you are not welcome here."

If I say that I’m not into “Feminine” Gay people, is that negative? It’s the same reason I dislike the song. It is too camp for my liking. I’m not saying it is a bad thing. It’s just not my preference. (Sorry for going on. I’m only trying to learn) I guess our issue here with your comments is ultimately understanding how you became a Gaga fan in the first place It sounds a bit like saying you love Metallica but hate rock, know what I mean?
