Born This Way is very diverse but I always felt it was a complete universe of its own.

I thought so too

Wasn't for Teeth, it would have been The Fame Monster

so it is definitely Born This Way. The awesome thing is that despite cohesiveness it displays so much variety and so many different influences too.

Joanne had the most easy concept in terms of aiming to cohesiveness, but it really was not. Especially when Joanne (song) ends, and John Wayne starts:triggered:

Everything could be everything (it could mean anything)

The most cohesive by far was TFM. I know that it's an EP, but it was phenomenal. The album had a clear theme which was different "fame monsters." The performances were iconic as were all of her looks that era in part mostly by the late Alexander McQueen. All of the promo was also just so perfect, and it was the height of her twitter reign.

For actual album though, I would probably say Joanne. It may not be her most popular and definitely doesn't have the most hits compared to her other albums, but it definitely was an extremely put together era, and all of the songs on the album are very cohesive. But tbh all of Gaga's albums are always pretty thought out and most songs are on theme with the rest of the album. She's a very big picture artist that also makes sure to focus on the tiny details at the same time.

Albums produced by Mark Ronson are always fairly cohesive. John Wayne is really the only song that doesn't "fit" on Joanne imo. At least based on the snippets + SL, Chromatica seems like like it may be fairly cohesive, too. Agree about TFM, tho, being the most cohesive out of all her albums.

Born This Way was the most cohesive I think.

The Fame Monster was also cohesive but Born This Way was cohesive enough to become a cultural movement.

I voted BTW, but ARTPOP flows it it's own way that from track to track it carries a message... it's a shame most people dont give it credit for at least that

I will forever argue Born This Way is her most cohesive, and she has yet to top it. She was the most popular female artist in 2011. She had everything - the promo, music, fans, outfits. It makes me even more upset about Chromatica, because it could've been the second coming of Born This Way era-wise.

sad lady gaga GIF

ughh, i felt this to my core.

it is... it couldve been too and I hope it will eventually when all of this pandemic flattens, if not during mid, but by the end of the year
