Still, many fans argue it is not even one of her best songs and Gaga has gone on produce huge singles and moments such as Born This Way, The Sound of Music at the Oscars, the Super Bowl halftime show, and the most awarded song in history in Shallow as well as numerous other amazing songs (Heavy Metal Lover, Scheiße, Judas, Always Remember Us This Way, I’ll Never Love Again, etc.). The song is great, sure, one of the greatest pop songs of all time. But it's not even in her top 5 songs for me. I don't even think it's the best song on TFM. I think that as a fanbase, we hold on to the decade old legacy between the song and the music video for no reason at all, because she outdid both those things with Marry The Night. You all hold this song so high to the point of where it overshadows the rest of her discography. So musically, yes, she has. In terms of fame and impact, I'd even argue BTW did so much more.
