We really gotta support it I mean yes, mind you, Gaga is the biggest artist she has featured on so there's that Let's go over it: Good As Hell (w/ Lizzo) - didn't even crack the Hot 100 Rule The World (w/ 2 Chainz) - NO. 94 Peak Bed (w/ Nikci) - NO. 42 Peak Dance to this (w/ Troye) - didn't even crack the Hot 100 And that's since 2017, none of the others before that have peaked any higher. So ROM is thatttt track, and it's a great sounding track so far. Also the collab with Gaga is more cohesive and makes sense since they're both major pop girls. LOVEDRUG 10,730 Posted April 30, 2020 Share Posted April 30, 2020 All of those songs were either with commercially smaller/less prominent artists (Troye, 2 Chainz), on a remix (Lizzo) or on an album that was sub-par commercially anyways (Nicki). If they deliver a very fresh, very catchy pure pop song, they could easily break the rule, since all of the features you listed had something else dragging them down anyway. It's not very wise to compare the impact of those songs to the impeccable impact ROM (a legitimate single by another big artist) could have if released/promoted right. Was a remix of an existing song that already wasn't the biggest hit 2. 2 Chainz isn't the most chart topping relevant artist ever tbh 3. Nicki doesn't really create hits anymore, especially when it's another artist featured on HER track 4.
