You know, I feel sorta shitty saying it, but I've gotten the impression for years now that she doesn't care much about music anymore. 

This girl literally lived and breathed music in the first few years. Like she literally made it sound like she would die without it, like it was her life blood. 

I don't get that at all anymore. Joanne was just referred to as a gift to her family, to help them heal. And then ASIB she primarily focused on acting and becoming a character, and talking about Bradley 24/7. 

Now with Chromatica, in the brief periods she's spoken about it, I just don't feel that same passion anymore. It's lots of talking about crying and having to basically be dragged into a studio. Sucks cuz she's obviously hurting but as a fan, I'd rather her drop off the map for a while and heal herself and rediscover that passion she once exuded, and then come back stronger (assuming she wants to).

When she says she loves us, she means the fans who actually support her and are kind. Not the spoiled brats. The truth is hard to hear I know 

If this huge insufferable portion of the fan base didn’t exist I think we would see a lot more interaction. When she’s on stage performing and interacting with the audience I see the same passionate person I always have. She’s just more guarded now.

If she was passionate about her fans, she's be more active and interacting with us more often... all fanbases have horrible fans. Its not a reason to neglect your entire fanbase like the way she has done

What do you expect? She’s gone full Hollywood. She left New York. She has always lived in New York. Her passion is acting now. Music is her solace, but acting is what she loves most now. There is no denying.

 

remember the days when all she would talk about is New York? That she would never leave and live elsewhere? I think dating a D list actor made her feel like hey, I can do this if this idiot can and I do not blame her. Acting seems more fun?
