Really? If she was fired when she was in maternity leave that IS for maternity leave and it's just as bad as it sounds. I hate things like this. They mine our society. Admittedly, I'm a little biased in favor of Marina, but I have a hard time imagining she would fire someone simply for taking a maternity leave and no other reason. I'm positive there must be more to the story that we aren't hearing. If Marina did in fact fire her, I bet she had a genuine reason to, so let's not jump to any rash conclusions without getting the full picture. When she did the livestream before the L+F release they seemed so close and Marina was praising her, saying she loved having a female manager. It's nobody's business except for this woman and the employer that let her go. If she wants to comment on it, cool but we literally know nothing about their working relationship. If I were to go online and say my boss fired me because of xyz, is it fair for you to then start expressing disappointment in them and judge their character? When you know nothing about what I was like to work with, whether or not I was meeting my boss's expectations etc? Work and Motherhood is an awfully difficult thing to navigate fairly and women OFTEN are on the **** end of the stick when it comes to it, but jumping to conclusions when we know nothing is so so cringey.
