The most WTF filler queens like Soju, Kahanna and Mercedes, queens playing for the cameras like Plastique and Shuga, Ariel Versace’s mediocre caucus ass reeking of grindr and loose hole, consistent threats from Vanjie screaming for airtime and being saved from the bottom 2 several times, Nina West being a gross foot predator, Brooke being overhyped by the judges, Yvie provoking people at every chance he got, and Silky Nutmeg Gamache........ we don’t speak of him.

Girl TEA at this. I really wanna see Soju's audition tape....:billie: S11 was initially cast as a "legacy queens" season, aiming for big drama for having queens with famous drag mothers, but that concept flopped so hard.

I don't know if you know the tea about Ariel's elimination, but producers wanted her to go far because she was one who liked to stir the pot, and Shuga's background and storyline was very short and cute so it was her time to go, but because Ariel fell and messed up that lip-sync the season's story lines were a bit screwed up and had to come up with that flop drama of Ariel's wigs...

Thank you for this question. All Stars 1 obviously takes the cake. Here's my power ranking from favorite to least:

1- All Stars 2: This season has the strongest group of queens of any, with challenges that let them shine, and production largely let things play out naturally. Given this was the first season with All Star rules, it was especially fun watching them navigate that for the first time. Incredible season.

2- Season 6: This season reshaped Drag Race into what it is today and is responsible for about 50% of the quotes and catchphrases to come out of this show. A memorable cast including crazy strong competitors (Bianca, Ben) and bonkers characters (Gia, Laganja, Adore).

3- Season 5: A satisfying season as it has the second strongest crop of contestants, but struck gold narrative-wise. Watching Jinkx become a force to be reckoned with was a great storyline, and the fact that all-star Alaska was secondary to it all says a lot.

4- Season 4: Sharon Needles changed Drag Race forever, and opened up the qualifications to what a Drag Superstar looks like. The cast was uneven, but the challenges were hilarious, and had some of the most memorable moments ever on the show.

5- All Stars 3: Episodes 1 through 5 are some of the best slices of television you can get. Dela's self-elimination was an amazing moment, but seeing the strongest queen bow out crippled the rest of the season completely. Add in the jury vote and it seemed like Dela's exit completely derailed the stakes.

6- Season 3: The design challenges put every other season to shame, and the tight three way race between Raja, Manila and Alexis was so much fun to watch. This was also the meanest, harshest, most competitive season ever, for better or worse. Heathers, Henny, Halleloo.

7- Season 10: This was an incredible cast of queens (Aquaria, Monet, Monique, Cracker, Vixen) and I think Aquaria's journey on the show (and sudden emergence as Snatch Game winner) changed audience perception of queens who seem to excel at one thing. In other words, pretty girls can be funny too.

8- Season 8: Bob was amazing, but was also given so much room to dominate that the rest of the queens felt like supporting cast. I think what made this season a bit deflating was that it seemed 100% obvious that this was Bob's season from the moment he walked in. Much deserved, but made for a less interesting ride.

9- Season 7: This season gets a lot of flack, but what made it stand out was that it followed a hyper-produced season 6 with a foregone winner. In season 7, no one had any ****ing idea who was going to win until maybe the finale. The challenges were honestly scripted trainwrecks, but there was something nice about getting to fall in love with under-produced, authentic queens again (Pearl, Katya, Kennedy), and that counts for something.

10- Season 2: The challenges this season were also a hot mess, but the group was generally pretty strong, and had some interesting chemistry (Tati vs Raven, Tyra vs everybody). To me, Tyra Sanchez absolutely deserved her win, but this was before Drag Race became a competition of charisma and superstar potential. For that reason, the season's stakes suffer a tad.

11- Season 9: Such a strong group of queens, but the challenges were honestly painful, and felt over-produced. Gaga was amazing in episode 1, but the format felt so wrong that it started the season on the wrong foot. The finale, while brilliant TV, was the first time a season winner didn't actually *do* the best on the show, and basically redefined the stakes of the competition completely.

12- Season 11: Another uneven season with over-produced storylines and shaky challenges. It felt like the editors were banking hardest on Silky and Vanjie, which made the finale much less satisfying as there was no buildup to that final showdown between Brooke and Yvie. Every season contributes something meaningful to the Drag Race tapestry, but I'd say season 11's share is smallest.

13- All Stars 4: Yes All Stars 3 limped to its ending, but the cast and challenges were incredible. All Stars 4 felt more like Big Brother sometimes than a talent competition. The editors seemed the most excitable at anything Gia and Valentina had to say, and the strange story building (and even stranger finale result) just felt like we were going nowhere. It says a lot when I didn't even blink an eye at Manila's shocking elimination halfway through; it just felt like the format finally jumped the shark.

14- Season 1: It's hard to judge this season because it had to walk so the others could run. Yes the budget is barely there, the cast is small with untapped potential, but this was Drag Race beta, and while it's a tough watch now, it built an empire on a $10,000 budget and the format largely hasn't changed since.

15- All Stars 1: There's nothing to say about this; they were only able to order 6 episodes and had to figure out a way to eliminate at double speed. The contestants were completely weighed down by the format gimmick, but at least it showed the potential of a true All Stars season, and it was still magical to watch cross-seasonal queens interact and compete for the very first time.

The last few seasons have been pretty bad and forgettable, but I think this seasons SLAPS. Great queens. Even with Sherry there.

AS 3 is a DISASTER in the results, although the season itself was pretty great.  AS4 was fine, but not memorable, they need to stop doing it annually.

Honestly I feel that its getting worse every year...and one of the main reasons to me its just because rupaul doesn't seem to care anymore lmao, he doesn't smile at all and doesn't seem excited with the queens/challenges...it's just weird to watch.

The ones I enjoyed a lot though : AS3, season 4-5-6 and 9 (maybe because I started with season 9 so it was my first drag race experience idk)

This season has been incredibleee.

The drama hasn't been too much, and the challenges have been extra fun. Not to mention, they are all multi-talented and strong queens. And there's a big sense of companionship, so it's very enjoyable to watch.

I'd even go so far as to say it's the most enjoyable season.
Seasons 5 and 6 were great, but Roxxxy and Laganja in those seasons were highly irritating. We don't have Roxxxy's or Laganja's in Season 12.

Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.

The only bad episode on season 12 is "The World's Worst". TALK ABOUT WORST. Not a single joke was a good, jesus

Thankfully it was cleansed with Snatch Game and Jaida's perfomance on the political debate :vegas:

Season 11 has to be the most painful to watch.

Season 12 is great imo. The closest they have gotten to season 4/5/6.
