Jeffree Star speaks out on allegations against Dahvie Vanity

TLDR basically jeffree used to be associated with Dahvie Vanity, a member of a group called blood on the dance floor.

Dahvie Vanity has been accused of doing sexual things with minors 

jeffree Star has toured with Dahvie in the past & basically Jeffree was accused of knowing about what dahvie has done but stayed silent 

in the vid above he says he never saw Dahvie do anything criminal but says he’s seen Dahvie be inappropriate with minors

I don't know a lot about makeup (and the community) but I believe that he's a business titan, makes good makeup and being on his good side ("stamp of approval") is important to a lot of smaller creators/people; basically he's too rich, white and famous to go away.

Because “that’s just how he is” and his fans put up with it. He constantly talks down to them on Twitter, like, rips them to shreds, and the next moment they’re apologizing to HIM. It’s like they’re in an abusive relationship with him.
