I think the SL video had way too much choreography, it wasn't all bad moves though and I love it, it was just a bit too much dancing imo. A few breaks to scenes with some props would have been nice. I thought it was missing some aliens/animals too, it would have made that universe richer.

I 100% agree for videos like MR, but ROM just screams dance anthem. It needs a choreo and a plot just like Judas, Alejandro, Telephone, Bad Romance, Born This Way and so on.

I feel that Richy's choreo getting faster and faster, like he feels the need to hit every beat with a different move, which result in these small, quick movements. I guess that's fine when you do it all the way perfect in MV, but in long live setting, even the dancer get out to breath and do the move haplessly. It looks like they are having spasms tbh.

Bad Romance is an amazing example of how slower pacing can look dramatic, amazing. Every move have their time to shine and have something interesting.
