Splashing your face with water is not washing. You need a gel cleanser or cream cleanser depending on ur skin type. If ur face feels tight and dry after using a gel cleanser then ur definitely not oily but dry, and u need a creamier more hydrating cleanser. If u cant bother having a skincare, cleanse ur face and then use a moisturizer that goes with ur skin type. Change the product if it doesn't do anything for u until u find the right one

I actually don’t believe in using cleaners on my face. I got the advice to use only water about 15+ years ago from a dermatologist. Only a few times I used them and it usually led to a breakout. I’m genuinely not bragging but people tell me that my skin looks great all the time and want to know what cleanser I use. Could just be my skin type though. I also moisturize about twice a day and wash my face with water several times a day.

Same, I've always been told to just use water and that that normally cleans enough for normal day to day. And then moisturize it by a day cream.

Maybe then ur skin is naturally clear but ur still not washing ur face properly. If u think about it when u go outside there's pollution & dirt u dont see them but they are right there, just use a cotton ball with toner wipe ur face with it when u come back home ull see how black it is. So imagine just splashing water on ur face and call it a day for years, there's normally a build up of dirt sitting somewhere deep in ur skin, but u were blessed with good skin. im just giving advise but do what u feel works for u, just hurts my soul to think only water is used tho lolol

well it's not naturally clear at all haha. I have had quite severe acne in my teens and now have mixed skin I'd say.
To clean, water seems to work best for me atm and then sometimes I do a deep clean because of the reasons u listed.

Next time I'm going to the dermatologist, I think I'll ask her for tips on my skincare.

The government forced me to change my legal age from 42 to 13 because I look so young and fit from drinking a little toilet water everyday!
