Chromatica era is a mess and it makes me sad

This post is not to hate on Gaga, not at all. Nothing that has gone wrong with Chromatica has been her fault.

So the way we kick off the Chromatica era is with a leak. But, the song finally comes out and does decent on the charts (top 5 debut and it's mellowed out around 25-35). Not bad for a leaked song, and Rain on Me is coming and we were all certain it was gonna be a hit.

Then the Coronavirus shite hit the fan, and the album got postponed. Since then we've had some magazine serves, but the era has derailed. And it is so unfortunate, and this is not her fault at all. I do think that the album getting postponed was the right choice, especially with music streaming down and stores being closed. I don't think she would have gotten a No. 1 album for Chromatica had it been released on April 10. 

Now, we have had more leaks with the Babylon snippet and the alleged Rain on Me snippet. Now there's the rumors that Rain on Me is cancelled and her and Ariana had a falling out  I can't believe how much this has derailed, because things we going so well with the Stupid Love announcement. We were getting promo, we almost had a Coachella moment, and I'm sure we would have some televised Stupid Love performances so she could keep it stable on the charts.

Things were even going well because of the tour. We didn't even think she would tour again, but we end up getting an announcement for the Chromatica Ball which once again, everything was so exciting. Ugh and now it's definitely gonna get cancelled, and that's gonna be another thing to hurt our morale and derail the era.

I think Gaga is keeping it together the best she can, and once again I do not think anything is her fault and One World Together and delaying the album was the best choice and it shows how amazing she really is.

This is really shaking up to be her messiest era yet, and it's not even her fault at all this time. It's the stupid virus. It makes me sad that this is what happens during the first Gaga era I'm having as a fan. 

What are your thoughts? Do you think she could still save the era? I do, but I think it does not need to resume until things start to open back up around the country and social distancing guidelines are relaxed.

The era is not a mess. Yes, I’m upset about the album being delayed and want it as much as the next person. With that said, I understand Gaga is not a politician or medical expert, but what she’s doing now to help victims and families who have been affected by the virus is something beyond noble and respected. the album will come. As far as Stupid Love is concerned, maybe the song didn’t perform as well as expected and that could be due to various reasons. Maybe she didn’t promote enough, maybe the song sucks, maybe Gaga doesn’t care to promote it etc. there’s 15 more songs on the album and when the time comes, they’ll be out. All we can do is be patient and that’s all.

People can’t visit their loved ones and are saying goodbye over FaceTime and zoom. I know this sucks but this sucks for everyone and obviously no one wanted this to turn out this way but keeping your head up and giving faith to our loved ones (including gaga) and understanding that this time is about sacrifice will do us well

I think there's still hope for this era to be as great as she had hoped if she just fully puts it on pause until things get better enough that she can at least do TV show performances, street looks, and shoot music videos. The worst possible scenario imo is the album leaking and then her being forced to release in this climate  but lets hope that doesn't happen.
