Sneaky Oliver 19,978
Same. I know I had it too. I went to the hospital but I couldn’t get tested. There were not enough tests for everyone so they were saving the tests for oldest people or those whose symptoms were worse than mine. Gender non-conforming people have existed far longer than our modern perceptions of transness (confirming surgeries, hormone therapy, etc.), which have only existed for less than a century, and various genderqueer people were there to throw the brick at Stonewall Please consider being more respectful in the future. We are doing nothing to harm you by just living our lives, and there's no reason to gatekeep who is and isn't trans Well majority of these terms have only come out within the past few years, more so with the rise (and fall) of tumblr. There are many reasons to gate-keep (fetishists, predators & people who literally aren't trans and end up de-transitioning). As a trans woman myself, I don't want to be grouped in with people who haven't transitioned through hormones and potentially surgery (yes I know, surgery doesn't make you your preferred gender). The term transsexual is defined as someone who medically transitions. I think if you're actually trans or more so transexual, you'd want to see a physical change in your appearance. The term transsexual is defined as someone who medically transitions. I think if you're actually trans or more so transexual, you'd want to see a physical change in your appearance. That's your story and your expression of your transness and gender, and you're entitled to that But it's not universal, and I think when we start trying to quantify which experiences are true to being "trans," it just becomes another weapon against future trans people to come out. It's just a much simpler (and frankly more correct) thing to me if trans can be used inclusively or exclusively depending on context. There is simply not another term for a nb person0---who is not cis--other than trans, and that label describes a good lot about their experience I myself am not a trans woman, and I have no right to tell someone who is whether they are doing it right or not. Neither do I think a trans woman has the right to police my identity and those of people whose experiences more closely match mine. And the "new" labels still represent something that has been present for millenia even if someone describes how they experience gender in a different way They / Them 🏳️🌈

Mine didn't last as long as yours though, like 7-8 weeks I think mine only lasted that long because it was hectic at work (Xmas time and I work retail) so I had barely any days off so I didn’t get enough rest or a clean enough environment to stay in. But I only fell ill after visiting my mum who had came back from the states for her anniversary with a cold a few weeks beforehand.
