It just tries too hard to tick all the boxes of a radio-friendly anthemic pop and just ends up being painfully formulaic and calculated. It worked for Katy too. Never Worn White is a gorgeous beautiful piano ballad, and most importantly, it ignites emotion, something Daisies just fails too. They actually want to make this music and put effort into it. Daisies feels like the execs just demanded Katy to do this and held her at gunpoint. Very similar to Atlantic and that Scooby Doo OST.
