I don't think Chromatica is coming on May 22 because The 1975, which are under Interscope too, are dropping the same day, and it would be lowkey stupid because the band postponed the album THREE times: 

- February 21, 2020 was the original date
- then April 24, 2020
- now it's May 22, 2020

Worth mentioning that all their three albums went #1 in the UK. Also, on May 29, 2020, The Killers (rock band, you know how die-hard are rock fans) are dropping their album, and all their five albums went #1 in the UK.

It's definitely coming in June at the earliest. They will want a single out for at least a month before the album drops.

Well original release was promo single end of March and then ROM a week before so it is a bit compacted 

She's also got the threat of Drake. 

I really hope labels tell each other when they plan to release

Nah it will probably be Rain On Me 1-2 weeks before the album and the video along with the album (maybe one promo single squeezed in).

Just did some research about The Killers and they have a record in the UK for being the first international act to chart its first five studio albums at number one, which I'm sure they want to keep.

Their last album debuted in the UK with 52k.
Their penultimate album debuted in the UK with 94k.
