no its literally just racist and dangerous, encouraging people to boycott Chinese business and avoid asian looking people basically. there is no going around that. its based on fear and ignorance!

It's a given there were higher rates of the disease with Asians in the early months. What's dangerous is pretending like that's not the case and encouraging people to flock to Chinese businesses.

how is it obvious? no its not. You have no data to prove that. You don't know how the virus really spead, you just rely on your "common sense" but you have no scientific knowledgewhatsoever.

"Chinese" people in the US are mostly in fact americans, and not all asian countries were affected the same way. it was mostly chiense and then korean + japenese.

The way he panders to racism elements is just gross. there are ways to say things while not encouraging to let down chinese businesses and instate fear of ALL asians/chinese in people's minds.

Have you seen the reports of violence against chinese? property vandalized? or just regular racism in the subway, etc against any asians??? as if they all live in "chinatown" and they all travel to china every month

youre gross tbh

youre gross honestly

Do Chinese people visit China or come into contact with people from China more often than non-Chinese people? A controversial topic of debate!

The virus started in China. It spread to America by people travelling to and from China. Most of these people are Chinese. Not hard.

Conservatives put their civil liberties over staying safe and leftists put their love of anyone non-white over staying safe. Americans in general are just nasty.

The virus came to America (New York was traced back to Europe to before the infected were even documented) via Europeans. Not the Chinese. Do your research. Also you're insinuating that conservatives are racist. If anyone's nasty, it's you.

The virus started in China and all current cases originate from there whether directly or indirectly. Patient Zero in New York being European doesn’t really matter when there are multiple launch points across the country. Demonizing people who are concerned about people who have a higher chance of visiting China is pretty stupid. Ushering them to support Chinese businesses is stupid and reckless.

Nearly everyone is a “racist”, whatever that term means now, just some people hide it/virtue signal better (basically only white people).

Agreed, but at the end of the day, people are scared and don't want to die, can you blame them?
