truthteller 1,809 Posted April 13, 2020 Share Posted April 13, 2020 I know it's just some #globalcitizen online platform campaign template that rihanna used years ago but it just sounds a bit off-putting to me when you only selectively call out these three specific "world leaders" out of everyone considering the rising tensions among countries these days..... and not to mention they're all not even from her country (i know it's also a global fund but still).... it's just.... a bit off.... she didnt raise her funds from private corporations through putting them in the spotlight either so..... well intension.... but there could be better execution i guess. It's a brilliant move that gets her point across while allowing her to be kind and non-confrontational. She's specifically calling out world leaders that have advocated or at least took the initiative to get involved on vaccines/pandemic on the previous years. The real agenda of her tweets is not to "call out" those world leaders but rather to highlight the initiative they have taken in regarding fighting pandemics/vaccine technology innovation.
