Put some respect on The Fame’s name

OK if this post has taught me anything:

It’s that a good majority of this fan base needs to put some ****ing respect on The Fame! I am actually disgusted at the number of children that have run into that post saying that The Fame aged like milk.

AGED LIKE MILK?

IM SORRY?????

The album that changed pop music as we KNOW, SEE & HEAR IT?????

It’s time for a lesson on The Fame because I am DISGUSTED.

Now we know how successful the album was and still is to this day - I don’t think anyone is denying that. But we need to go into debate about the quality of music and why over 70 people think this is her worst album :bradley:

Please tell me how the quality has aged badly when artists are still trying to replicate the sound to this day? Hi Ava Max.

What’s triggered me most is the number of people saying the album has lots of fillers :bradley: I’m sorry? Do we listen to the same album? The only excuse I can think of is these monsters weren’t even Gaga fans at the time because they were still drinking from a bottle and playing in a sandbox :bradley: and while I love that Gaga gains new young fans, y’all need to be educated and you need to put some respect on the fame today :bradley:

so let’s review these “fillers”

BEAUTIFUL DIRTY RICH

I’m considering this song an album track. But as most wise monsters know, it should’ve been a more successful single on the album. This is a better song than most of her contemporaries could even produce at the time. The girls today don’t have songs like this in their discographies and they never will.

THE FAME

CHILE THIS SONG WAS THE MID 2000’s. This is pop culture all rolled up into a song - something that was done a lot by pop stars around this time but Gaga perfectly articulated it into her lyrics and it is one of the best songs she’s ever recorded. Another one that could’ve smashed the radios in 2008 and a sound that Ava Max cries for at night.

MONEY HONEY

YEAH UM? HELLO! WAKE UP - This song chile :billie: this song could’ve ended careers if it was released as a single. The girls were actually shaking and hoping she wouldn’t release this song because it would be such a devastation on the pop industry at the time. That’s how much power Gaga had in her hands. With this one simple song, dozens of pop stars would be forgotten in an instant if she released it to radio. So being the kind person that she is, she didnt release it. A lot of people would be scared here.

AGAIN AGAIN

OK SO NOT ONLY was our queen ending the careers of pop stars, she was coming for the alternative girls too! Parasite and Avril Lavigne were kind of shooken up because they thought they were safe but no - she had something for those guitar strumming bitches too! Y’all she wasn’t playing - she was coming for blood and no one was safe.

STARSTRUCK

YALL!! NOOO!! OK, WHAT SHE WAS DOING SHOULDVE BEEN CRIMINAL! Not only did she stop pop stars and alternative punks from getting their bags - SHE WAS COMING FOR FEMALE RAPPERS YALL :bradley: not even LIL KIM AND EVE were safe :bradley: this one song is the reason why mainstream accepting Nicki Minaj :bradley: imagine having that much power on music :bradley:

BOYS BOYS BOYS

before Gaga jumped out, Gwen Stefani was the quirky pop star with the cool music videos. She had 2 fun pop albums during the few years before this release but with THIS ONE SONG, Gaga TOOK her gig and released a Stefani-esque song that was better than Gwen Stefani ever released :bradley: wow

PAPER GANGSTA

Another female rap hit :bradley: say hello to another reason why we even know Nicki Minaj as a household name to this day. The power, the talent. Is the respect earned yet?

BROWN EYES

She was showing us her vocal talents LONG before they wanted to recognize and praise her for it. Through all the glitz and sex and fame hunger she was showing us that she was going to be an EGOT in 20 years. I mean imagine being able to see the future??? :bradley:

I LIKE IT ROUGH

SUCH A COOL AND FUN SONG UGH. Late 2000’s MTV wrapped up into another bop. Truly just another example of a song that girls just don’t have in their discography. It’s another top 10 hit if she wanted it to be. This song is still better than anything another pop star put out that year.

SUMMERBOY

PARAMORE, FEFE DOBSON, ETC FOUND DEAD AGAIN :nooo: if you don’t recognize this song for the hit that it deserved to be then why even stan? One of the best songs on her album and still one of the best songs she’s ever recorded

RETRO DANCE FREAK

OK not only did she have the audacity to end careers for pop stars, alternative stars and rappers. She came for legends :bradley: she didn’t have to come for prince this hard and the people of the 70’s :bradley: when they heard this song , they wondered why they even made music all those years :bradley: this is a song And sound DUA LIPA WISHES she could have on Future Nostalgia. it’s TRUE FUNK, not everyone has that

DISCO HEAVEN

Another example that The Fame is still impacting radio today :bradley: With this one song, she set the trend for 2019/2020 radio. Radio was hers before and after radio was hers :bradley: DUA ???? WHO???? I’m sorry but this is better than anything any disco-wannabe could release in 2020. This song makes today’s disco influences look like an elementary talent show. I’m just amazed at the talent and future telling.

WELP ok y’all. I hope after you’ve left this lesson, you’ve earned more respect. Now go change your votes in the other post :vegas:

Everyone who says that The Fame is her worst album is as delusional as they can be.. Crazy

I don't even want to argue with people who share that opinion

I Like It Rough must be one of the most udnerrated songs from Gagzie.

The big d1ck hermaphrodite energy that that has, the international bedroom implications that that has.

I f*cking love The Fame but let's not go there! You sound like a madonna stan when gaga came in to the scene  :bon:

I enjoy both of the albums and really there's no need to compare them. I dont understand why you cant just enjoy two different things without bringing someone down. The immaturity.

The nerve of saying BDR is a filler when conceptually, it's one of the most important songs on the album and one of the first written for it...

I don't know how to write in english

If you don’t understand the sarcasm behind my thread then you really need to take it somewhere else. This is a fun post, calm the **** down.

It's full of bops and balances Gaga as a human and as a persona. She has a clear vision and concept regarding how she chooses to explore fame. I don't listen to it much but have great respect for this album. There's a reason why it's one of the best selling of all time.

99% of pop girls wish they had such a strong debut. She wanted to rule the world and she did in the end... fake it till you make it.

+ the New York vibe is everything :flutter:

Look I love the album but it is simply her worst album. The lyricism is basic, it does sound dated (hence why nearly all of the singles of it are played on throwback stations), and it lacks a lot of thematic diversity.

You need to realize that while yes, it may be her worst album in some people’s views, the fact that it is still such a good and solid album says a lot about the rest of her discography.
