By the way, Mariah has nodules. Meaning, some notes don't come out the way she wants to. She has no control over that since she was born with them. It affected her back then and it gets worse as she gets older.

I don't know how you can say something negative about this performance. Her voice just aged, but still sounds SO BEAUTIFUL. I believe she's taking a lot of care of her voice in the recent times, and I can't wait for a new album. I'd love her to have a TEOM Comeback 2.0:bradley:

Yeah I had a camera up my nose and down my throat . My voice is unreliable. It gets tired easily and used to always crack, with a strange tone when I tried to sing. And the way I want to sing notes doesn't come out the way it sounds in my head sometimes, it's like notes 'bend', hard to explain.

Now it's a lot better because they said it was probably silent reflux and it improved after taking antacid medication. The ENT specialist said they were only at the onset so I didn't need surgery or anything. :)

Diversity queen tbh

Yeah so many people get nodules cause of damage from reflux.. Lol we eat toxic food all the time ugh.

How u long has this been? You thought about speech therapist. Learning better posture, breathing better like going to yoga or tai chia is very good. You dont feel strangled at times? Or tense in the shoulders, throat

Yeah it's not physically painful, but it does feel tense and like... dried out and pinched. I also seem to be sensitive to caffeine and alcohol now too.

I've had problems for about 10 years and treated on and off since 2015, I just take Gaviscon for periods as and when I feel it declining. Regular doctors wouldn't listen to me, they would feel my neck and say I was fine lol. So I paid to go to a private ENT and as I suspected I had inflammation and early nodules.

Yeah it was actually the speech therapist who suspected the silent reflux and recommended Gaviscon. I'm not surprised though because I eat most of my food late at night and in bed :laughga:
