Stef 61,598
Genuine question y’all. I’ve received about 10 emails in the past two weeks and each of them have been advertising a sale of some sort. Lots of beauty companies have suspended operations, incl. Jeffree Star, who hasn’t been generating special sales and “buy 2 get 1 free” offers. Do you think there’s a moral aspect to this? Kindness Hooker 7
It probably wouldn't be a good look on her part. Not that it actually matters but I'm sure the SJW would show up with torches and pitch forks.

SharkmanthaC 114,691
I honestly think it's because of the economy not doing so well. They're trying to generate sales to keep their company open. I have been getting sale emails from almost every company right now. she/her/hers

LaLa 19,663
I don't have a problem with it. I get about 1000 emails a day from all different companies offering deals and sales, they're just out there trying to survive. I delete the Haus Labs ones along with pretty much everything else, no hard feelings

Amazon warehouse workers who fulfill HL orders don't have PPE, paid sick time without a pos test, and a lot of them are on strike. Situations like this are exactly why I'll never come around to HL They’re running HL sales on the HL site, not on amazon. It’s all full price on amazon. Amazon employees are not involved in shipping HL orders from the HL website. I don’t know why people don’t understand this lol reality’s tight if the music is right

It's not the exact same as running a promotion, but he did push for those sales.
Ashley 9,518
I think it’s fine. Lots of retailers are having sales and advertising as usual.
Franch Toast 26,911
I'm getting these kinds of messages from a variety of non-essential businesses: makeup, skincare, clothing, etc. I delete all of them. On the one hand, I wish these non-essential businesses weren't doing this right now, especially as I don't know how they're fulfilling and shipping their order. On the other hand, I realize that skincare and makeup can be a form of self-care for other people, and I'm empathetic toward small businesses that are suffering (this doesn't include Sephora or other large ones). I personally find skincare to be more essential than makeup, as those of us staying at home really don't need to wear makeup. Anyway, I wish they weren't running all these specials and trying to encourage people to order their stuff, but it's not like HL or Fenty is any worse than the rest of them in this regard.
