Khashoggi 1
canada is part of the North American continent... Therefore it counts as America... You must mean Canada isn't part of the United States... seriously, when residents of the United States say "America" they mean the US. Call us ego-centric if you must, but Gaga is just speaking the same as everyone else in the US. Kinda agree with giskardsb. And no, I'm not from the States. The US is really the United States(USA comes from United States of America). However tweet said this, so NathanC has a point (or is Tacoma in the US?), but Canada isn't America or US, it's North America, she said it the wrong way(unless Tacoma is indeed the US then it's confusing people): Lady Gaga â€@ladygaga The Born This Way Ball debuts this week in Canada! First American date in Tacoma on the 14th! I can't wait for you to finally see this show!
giskardsb 12,565
dudes, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada is on the 11th. Tacoma, Washington, USA, is on the 14th. She's not confused. But all I care about is Houston, TX, USA, Jan 31. Edited January 10, 2013 by giskardsb

This is what she meant haha. She says the tour starts this week in Canada and she comes to America on the 11th. What is not clear about that? The continent that has; the United States (and it's territories) & Canada. The "North American Leg" means she's going all over the continent. Starting at the top (Canada), working her way down (to Washington) and then to other places around the US. It's not hard to understand at all. She's not confused in the slightest. Even "The American Leg" would translate as the North American continent. She's done Central America, right? Or is she doing that after the US? When people were saying she must be confused for saying "the American leg starts in Vancouver" or something, I was facepalm-ing because Canada is part of The Americas (continent group). Whether the United States likes it or not. Edited January 10, 2013 by cocotutch 珈琲ちょうだい

TheMadridHash 4
All the shows were sold out. get real, Live Nation does that, i mean, they even did it for madonna for a bunch of stadium shows in europe, they posted tht only colombia failed to sell out, but that's not the reality, i still think it was an impressive run for someone who has been around for 4 years plus had never visited the regio plus had to compete with madonna selling tickets 2 months before her

Not sure why you are arguing in this thread about it anyways.
