I'm not gonna outright blame misogyny on this, but I think there's weight to the claim that because what our society associates with femininity it undervalues, when a man exhibits interests and traits associated with the feminine, it's seen on at least some level as a step down, or a betrayal of sorts... 

I agree, but some people always take homosexuality to another level, like it is the apocalipse. In my opinion, LGBTQ people are cowardly used by some people in power as a scapegoat to control other peoples lives, cause there isn't so many scapegoats left anymore after science to scare people that they are going to hell. Like, there's a lot of stuff that's prohibited by the Bible and religious and straight people do anyway like eat shrimps, shave theirs beards and **** sex.

Oh yeah, persecuting LGBTQ people is used as a scapegoat by politicians all the time - even Hitler did that - apparently he had no problem with people who are gay since he had a war general or something, who was gay... but then he turned on them when it was convenient... Hence why I said I don't outright blame misogyny, I think there are obvious overlaps and they stem from the same place, but homophobia has become its own thing... and the rona is its latest form apparently

Ugh I've been hating this hideous person for a few years already.
