I do understand both sides. some people can be a little too sensitive and I understand why it is a trend, along with understanding why people might be upset. also, his apology, was not an apology. you don't start off with implying that "everyone else is doing it but i'll delete mine". you speak for yourself and just apologize on your part : )

I don’t think this is problematic at all. I think it’s just pretty obvious he’s widely hated, he literally can’t do anything bc he will get dragged for it. This is like the upteenth “scandal” he’s had this year.

And I do kind of feel bad for him for that.

That said, I really can’t stand him either. I’ve never liked him even before the whole Tati controversy that turned everyone against him. I don’t know there’s just something so aggravating, irritating, and grating about his whole personality 

But I do believe this whole situation is unnecessary.

Facts :

- Yes, what he did is oftenly used for TV shows and movies. He is working on an action movie? Was this make up for a video? A show maybe? 

- Halloween not so sure... I mean are they people who wants to look like you've been beaten to death? 

- Yes, his answer to the meltdown is totally wrong. I mean, some people should educate themselves. Any kind of abuse can leave a mark : on your body and on your mind. It's a trauma. I shouldn't have to say that to Gaga fans. 

- Yes, this is a dumb trend. It might not directly be glorifying domestic abuse but it can make people react. 

- James Charles is known around the world and has a lot of followers some that are really young. And it can cause people to worry about how these followers. It has now reached the outside of the tik tok community. 

- More than 1 billion people have now to stay at home, and domestic abuse cases have litteraly exploded around the world. 

 

Before siding on either side you should really wonder what would be your reaction if someone you know or even yourself had been abused. How would you react? 

James Charles doesn't care about other people or the fact that what he does is reaching people's mind. That is a fact. But he is not the only one to do so. You people who are defending him need to see that being him, there is an entire community who are following this trend, a new generation that thinks this is cool. 

And then in the end, one day, if they see someone who's been abuse, what will be their reaction? Will it be cool for them? Your actions have consequences. It's time to grow the f up.
