Y'all are way too forgiving and way too soft on people who would sacrifice you and everyone you love without a second thought if it meant they would get a penny out of it, tbh:ohwell:

So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted.

I’m disgusted reading comment in this thread.

Yes his leadership is questionable. Yes he has said some phobic things in the past and yes people may think he’s a hypocrite. But first and foremost he is someone’s son, brother, father and partner. No one (apart from the obvious criminals) deserve this. He doesn’t deserve death.

Hoping the Prime Minister recovers from this and comes back stronger.

His leadership is not questionable - it is directly responsible for the deaths of potentially thousands of people.

I don't feel bad for someone like this.

If there is ANYTHING to take away from this is that, yes maybe he ‘deserves’ this, and maybe it’s his fault for endangering people’s lives but like Craig has pointed out in a comment above, we should criticise his actions AFTER he recovers. Right now he is fighting for his life and we shouldn’t be saying things like “Karma” “good”.

What we should be doing is discussing the fact that the UK PM and government didn’t do enough to start off with, and didn’t realise the severity of this. We should then be scrutinising their next steps and hoping a lesson has been learnt. We should be having THAT conversation.

No, he's a public leader. He stepped into this role knowing he would be constantly criticized. Someone being ill does not grant them clemency from being criticized when their actions may kill thousands of people.

I mean, you can exonerate literally everyone this way. Hitler was someone's son too, you know?

Hitler and Boris Johnson are two different things :oprah:

I don’t particularly like straight men, I called one a “breeder” once, doesn’t mean I’m going to set up a ****ing concentration camp does it?

Some of us are trying to have that conversation. Why should we have to wait to criticise the governments actions? They are actions which are, and will continue to affect many many lives. This past weekend people were still out in droves in public spaces and parks but the government won’t put further restrictions in place.

Even now, social distancing is still simply guidance. Friday was the first day a government minister said the measures weren’t an ‘ask’ but an instruction.

And in your earlier post you suggested that no one other than ‘obvious criminals’ deserved this. I’m still wondering quite what you mean by that? You contradict your own argument of ‘Boris is someone’s brother, son...etc’ with this very statement?

Has he been caring about thousands and thousands of people also fighting for their lives he’s supposed to lead then?? Eye for an eye..

Yes, I do,

“Apart from the obvious criminals”

There is in no way any correlation between HITLER and Boris Johnson whatsoever.

Whether he had it coming or not he does not deserve this.

Let Rona be the judge of that
