27monster27 13,576
So I made a status post about this seeing if people wanted it. Since it was a yes, I have decided to start a series in which we will have a small debate about whether or not an unreleased song should have made an album, or a released song should not have made an album. Here is the song. Elle Vee's demo pitch for Glory, "Oxygen".: Do you think that it should have made Glory, or it is okay that it stayed unreleased? he/him/his

A guy in a long trench coat came up to Britney while she was all alone and he was like 'hey girl, look what I've got', BOOM, opens up his trench coat and to his belly this demo was taped... Britney took it, listened to it and was like And the guy in the trench coat was like It's a joke! When you give me that look, it's a joke!

I am not 100% sure how this works, but considering that Britney had a decent level of control over this album, I am assuming that she sent out a request based on what sound she wanted, as well as what topic she wanted for a song. Then Elle Vee pitched (or gave) this demo to Britney for consideration. he/him/his
whore 11,447
It’s a decent song but it’s clear why it wasn’t recorded. In the state it’s in now, it sounds very dated. The production is very 2006 pop-R&B and doesn’t fit with Glory at all. I love the verses but the chorus is pretty generic. Glory doesn’t have any fillers and this would have been one. yes and 4,884
The song is not bad, but very outdated. It wouldn't really fit with the album. Did you think I'd show up in a limousine? No
