We learn how people treat us even if we don't know why. I know most parents will operate on their assumptions, and even the majority of children will identify as cis, but I think we're all limited by gender roles in one way or another, you know? They rule out that as an option. Children should be raised with ALL perspectives- not just the perspective of being cis. Yes cis is an option and I’m not saying it should be discouraged, I’m saying ALL ways of being should be encouraged.
