I don’t mind if she doesn’t mention Chromatica. 
What will annoy me is if she is making something out of nothing. 
If she is trying to garner attention just to say “I’m donating funds to help find a vaccine for COVID-19”, then it’s completely unnecessary. 
 

However, if the “attention-seeking” is so that she can gain an audience to make them aware that she is organising something BIG (benefit concert maybe), then it makes sense.

they are there to entertain - comedy is part of that. If she has something in store which she hopes to use to help the ongoing crisis - why not hype it?

She's been speaking to personnel from the World Health Organisation. She's definitely not doing this for attention. She's in a position to help and that's what she's doing. 

A benefit concert is a great idea, but it'd be crowd-less.

The fact that she wasn't ready for the interview and kept wanting to hang up on Jimmy seems unprofessional/ inappropriate at first... until you consider that the whole "sooooo busy" schtick is just a scripted April Fool's joke

You know how she could show us she cares as a musician? If she released her album and was like “50% of everything I earn with this record will go to charity for COVID-19.” That’s the only thing she as a musician can do. Everything else, including benefit concert or whatever she could do can’t really help. But oh well.

It was April Fools Day, this was all choreographed and scripted, and anyone who thinks she was losing her mind or being inappropriate is hyper delusional. Get a grip folks; Gaga is just doing what Jimmy does and that’s bring laughter to us during this mess.

Honestly I feel like she would do something philanthropic to that extent. She may even say proceeds from Enigma and the Chromatica Ball will go towards COVID-19 research.
