The main point is, she has consistently been doing philanthropic things for over 10 years now. To say that she is just a singer isn't really accurate, and is quite dismissive of her other accomplishments throughout her career.

Philanthropy/charity work (if that's what she's doing here) is not the same work as what doctors do. It's an important function that doctors don't have time for, because they have their own separate important functions to attend to! But it IS something that she has the name recognition and resources to contribute BIGtime to!

Same for volunteering, manufacturing, distribution activities... all important, but not something attended to exclusively by healthcare workers. People in other fields (like Gaga in entertainment) can help with signal boosting and collecting, though!

She literally just delayed a simple ANNOUNCEMENT... I mean... she is an artist... what could she do against covid -19 except donating money? Put on some clothes and goes straight into a labortary to find the cure for a virus?! (She would, we all know )

I think she is planning to do covid 19 show, like ari did with manchester.... 

Or she is donating money.... for every CD we buy, a decent amount goes to a foundation.... this would help the people to find the cure on corona plus she avoids to flop even without normal promo rollout for an album cause people definetely gonna buy it.

Gaga just released a song barely over a month ago, so I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion.

The album was postponed because Gaga's entire team is currently quarantined, she cannot do much promotion, and she might feel like promoting her music instead of directly helping those in need is the wrong decision.
