I am in the middle of “her” city and don’t know any one person impacted by the virus itself. Certainly none of us would be “offended” by a singer... singing... to let us forget that we are out of work, soon to lose healthcare, and more.

I get where you are coming from. I just don’t think it’s that black and white. I can totally see why she postponed it. It’s not like she’d be able to do anything fun like make videos, perform the music while this pandemic is going on. And it’s probably not her choice. It would turn into like a throw away album, and she should be able to enjoy releasing her art! Not forced to.
 

as far as her making a statements about what is going on, I don’t think people look to her for her ideas, they look to her for hope.

I'd say get a good night's rest and look up a recording on Twitter or YouTube tomorrow morning. It'll be something probably cute but not humongous to start off your day. It's not like you'll miss out forever if you don't watch it when it airs. And it doesn't sound like it's gonna be something as eventful as, like, a performance, where it's more fun to watch it premiere at the same time as everyone else.

I’m sure she knows exactly what most of her fans think when she rehashes news articles to us. And it looks like based off the last page most people agree Gaga is more than just someone to tell us to wash our hands and social distance. If she has music news, great. If she’s been working on a project to benefit covid victims, great. If she’s here to tell us to stay XX feet away from each other and how we need to focus on being positive and keep our bodies moving, stuff we hear everyday on our local news... she should be there instead, not talking to celebrities.
