This place has become unbearable- why are we here if we aren’t expected to expect *music*-related news or talk out of a *musician* we stan, was supposed to release an album and postponed indefinitely, and hasn’t given us a live performance from her new era yet?! 

Pretty sure everyone saying that music is inappropriate or whatever the heck can get corona news from the million news / propaganda channels, sites, etc., scientists, politicians ... like, really, I’m supposed to live in a reality where people want Lady freaking Gaga to tell them more about the corona than discuss her actual music? The thing she does for a living? The reason she’s even on talk shows?

If I want psych info, I’ll head to my therapist. If I need to be told to wash my hands, my options are limitless. New music to distract me from this warped idolatry of musicians and celebrities as anything more than entertainers? Yes please.

I am in the middle of “her” city and don’t know any one person impacted by the virus itself. Certainly none of us would be “offended” by a singer... singing... to let us forget that we are out of work, soon to lose healthcare, and more.

This is my biggest critique. I love Gaga but if she’s going to go on shows and rehash the same things we hear on the news...  She’s an entertainer and philanthropist, not a doctor or news reporter.

You’re in nyc? You don’t know one person impacted by the virus?  I’m in Brooklyn, I know 3 people- two in Manhattan one in queens.  You know nyc one of the most heavily impacted states in the USA? Just because you don’t know anyone impacted mean nobody is impacted? 
 

also she hasn’t given us a performance for her new era yet because her new era is sorta put on hold.  
she made it very clear she is not in the spirit to be promoting and moving forward with the album anymore at this time.  Acceptance, at this point, is key.
