Even currently, she decided to throw away all her fanbase temporarily for the greater good, that is all people affected COVID-19. Which is many people. Eventhough she don't do these good things for that. But just being selfless. But still, it still would be nice. Especially since some winners are questionable anyway, such as Aung San Suu Kyi, Yasser Arafat, Henry Kissinger, among others. Is it because Gaga is a celebrity? If I could have my way, I would already, and Elton John too. Well, what say you? The Dalai Lama, Prince William, World Health Organisation and Yale University have all spoken with Gaga about her mission for a kinder world. It’s only a matter of when not if. Not only kindness in general but her vocal support for gay rights in the military (listen to her 2010 Washington DC speech for chills, sistrens) at the very height of her popularity led to Obama repealing the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell laws (the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act established by Bill Clinton that forbade open gay marriage and gays serving in combat). She is a hero for so many colours and creeds. She wants us to be kind to others because it is the highest form of loving yourself.
