"changed my life in many ways ! i'll tell you more about it later"

what gaga just said in her PAPER mag interview about a certain collaboration, someone who had a tough time too and they... healed together? (something around those lines)

Edit:
One such message led Gaga to collaborate with a fellow female pop star, who has similarly experienced immense trauma while in the public eye. Their song together is a monster of a dance tune, but its message is about submitting yourself to devastation ("It's coming down on me, water like misery") — a flawless dance floor crier as a "celebration of all the tears," Gaga describes. "I sat with her and we talked about our lives. It's two women having a conversation about how to keep going and how to be grateful for what you do."

This feels like what Nothing Breaks Like A Heart should have sounded like :nooo:

Manchester, and dealing with PTSD afterwards. I remember reading somewhere that she blamed herself for what happened and really struggled to come to terms with what happened. When she was on tour for the Sweetner WT, she would often breakdown in tears and she struggled to get through some shows.

Yup true... and the loss of one of her closest and dearest friends and fellow musician, Mac Miller

Concert terrorist attack, PTSD and she would constantly feel like it was her fault. Many people lost their lives there. Not that long after that, Mac Miller, her ex boyfriend and best friend, died of OD. Ariana tried to help him but he sadly lost his battle.

She had some really tough and traumatic moments but she channeled her pain and sadness on her music which resulted on massive success. "Sweetener" really helped her cope with the pain, as you can tell by the lyrics of songs like "Get Well Soon" and "No Tears Left To Cry" she tried to take care of her mental health really hard, then came "thank u, next", her most succesful album to date, only 6 months after.

That’s why I think Gaga saw Ari as the right one to write and sing this song, they are both woman who have been through traumatic experiences very publicly but have tried to remain positive and inspire kindness and mental health awareness, while also being strong and resiliant.

I think more went on behind the scenes that just the making of this song.  I really think Gaga took Ariana under her wing and was like a 2nd mother to her having gone through similar stuff. Thats why Ariana mentioned that Gaga changed her life :kara:

I remember when she was talking about the making of Joanne and she was discussing how working with Beck came around, and I think this experience was something similar. Obviously what is between them will be between them, but its obvious they are really close. I think one day they just jammed out and sang their pain and what came out was a track...

The thought of Gaga and Ariana jamming in a studio is making my brain go crazy omggg:nooo:

I hope Ariana saves the Chromatica era. We need Rain on Me to be a hit but most importantly to be GREAT!

What do you mean "save"? :oprah:   Ari, as talented as she is, doesn't have the cure for Covid 19
