Girl, I LIVE here, and I don't hate this woman, why would I? . Of course *your friends* who probably have similar interests, know her . But most people don't, get over it . The only latin american pop girls who are popular in my country are Shakira (the most popular one by a large margin), Thalía, Paulina Rubio and Tini, who is a local phenomenon. And perhaps Lali, who is also local, maybe Carol G too.
